Wests players Isabel Goffage (right – playing for MetWest) and Scarlett Varidel (left – playing for the President’s XI) had a great four days at the Queensland School Sports 12 and Under girls cricket championship recently.
Scarlett bowled well and a claimed several wickets and spent good time in the middle with the bat for the Presidents XI.
Isabel contributed heavily with both bat and ball for Met West and was rewarded with selection in the Queensland 12 & U girls team which will contest the School Sports Australia 12 and Under National Championships in December 2018.
Well done on a great week girls, and massive congratulations to Isabel on her selection in the Queensland team!
