The Stage 2 Advanced West’s Stars got the season off to a flying start with the first 50 scored for a Stage 2 Wests team.  After losing the toss and being sent into bat, Seehan Kent started his season off with a brilliant innings of 58no off 42 balls. Seehan was able to achieve this with the support of his team mate Eddie Willimott at the other end. Eddie did a great job of putting together a fine knock of 39no. Ben Slynko didn’t want to miss out on the action either and chipped in with a well hit 23 to help get the score well in to the hundreds. The Stars finished off their innings strong with a score of 7-213 after a rain reduced 28 overs.

It was St Peter’s Lutheran College’s turn and they were 1-93 before the match had to be abandoned due to bad weather.

Well done boys and congratulations to Seehan on his first fifty for the season.
