From then on it was plane sailing for the dolphins with them running the total down with 5 overs to spare with the loss of only 1 wicket. Brisbane Heat batter Max Bryant finished with 82 not out of 67.

2nd grade lost by 4 wickets at Graceville with a first innings total of 9-141 off 50 overs not proving enough, Connor Bell top scored with 28 off 55. Gold Coast ran down the total for the loss of 6 wickets in the 37th over, youngster Joe Fry was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 20.
