Our mighty 1st grade side, on the back of a batting demolition of Gold Coast in the semi final, has progressed to the 2021/2 Seasons Grand Final.

After winning the toss captain Pat Collins and Isaiah Snell set about batting the star studded Gold Coast line up out of the match. “Snelly” and Steve McGiffin put together an outstanding partnership taking the score to 3/161  with Snelly finally dismissed for 71. “Giff” continued on producing another valuable half century. The batting order continued to provide results with Josh Del Simone, Sam Dennien and Aiden Watterson also contributing half centuries. The match was called off when Gold Coast realised they could not win the match with the mighty Bulldogs finishing at 8/432.

Our 1st grade side is now in a grand final against Ipswich at Baxter Park, the Ivor Marsden Memorial ovals starting this Saturday and Sunday and then next weekend as well. The top

Two sides all season in action in what will be a great Grand Final.

We call out to our Bulldog community to rally around the boys and get up to Ipswich to support them. We will of course have our marquees set up and look forward to a great crowd wearing their Club and Supporter caps proudly over the weekends.

Let’s get out and support the boys and bring home our first Premiership since 2016/17
