We’ve taken another step forward at Chelmer Sports Ground with the new lighting poles arising from the earthworks platform for the new cricket nets. It’s great to finally have works out of the ground!

The bulk earthworks for the nets were completed last week with over 600 tonnes of material imported to the site. New utility services for all of the new facility (including the new change rooms, cricket nets, equipment shed and irrigation infrastructure) will be installed over the remainder of this week, and the slabs for the nets and shed are scheduled to be poured by mid-August.

Design of the new change rooms is also progressing nicely with preparatory site work for the new building expected to start in September.
