Wests is placing a bulk order for cricket helmets in Wests’ club colours from Masuri! Wests players can pre-order a elegant new black and gold lid now and have it in time for the start of the new season!
A range of helmet models in both junior and adult sizes are available from Masuri’s current product range at a substantial discount to retails prices. The helmets on offer range from Masuri’s budget-friendly entry level models through to the top-of-the-line equipment.
These helmets comply with British Standard, and therefore meet current rules for helmets for all Wests players.
Helmet rules for junior players will change for the upcoming 2020-21 season with MSW requiring in the interests of player safety that all Stage 2 and Stage 3 players wear a British Standard-compliant helmet while batting and wicket keeping. This brings the requirements for junior players into alignment with those which were implemented by Queensland Cricket for grade cricketers last season. It is a change from previous MSW rules which required that players wear a helmet while batting and keeping, but did not specify a minimum compliance standard that the helmet must meet.
Social distancing requirements arising from the coronavirus situation will also mean that helmets can’t be shared this season, so each player will need to have their own equipment.
Wests players can pre-order a helmet in Wests colours to suit their specific requirements. Pre-orders must be placed by Thursday June 11.
