After two weeks waiting for concrete to cure, work started started on laying the synthetic surface and fitting out the netting structure for the club’s new practice nets at Graceville Memorial Park.
All things going well, our two additional practice nets should complete this week. A wait of another two to three weeks will be required to allow the turf run-ups to establish before the nets can be used for training. We expect they will will be available for practice by the beginning of January.
Work to upgrade the GMP nets lighting also starts this week, and will hopefully be completed before the Christmas-New year break.
