Details regarding season registration fees are available on our Registration Fees page.
When does the season start?
Pre-season training starts for our Men’s Grade, Women’s Grade, Lords Taverners and Youth Girls squads in early July, and the first rounds of competition will progressively kick off through September. A full pre-season training schedule will be posted on our TeamUp Calendar in the next few days.
The junior season for MSW junior cricket, the Chelmer Girls Cricket Challenge, Super Sixers (Master Blaster) and Junior Blaster commence in the first week of school Term 3 in October.
Grading days for Wests junior cricket players will be held at the end of August – you can get the full details on our junior grading page.
Which type of junior cricket is right for you?
Cricket Blast… Junior Cricket… Chelmer Girls Cricket Challenge… Not sure which type of junior cricket is right for you? Have a look at the advice on our junior cricket pages or contact the Wests Junior Cricket Stage Co-ordinator relevant to your level.
Register before the end of August and you’ll get great Early Bird discounts on all registration types. Sibling discounts are also available during the online registration process for the second and subsequent children registered with Wests for Junior Cricket and Wests Super Sixers. Check out Registration Fees page for details of this season’s fees.
Instalment payments for senior players
Registrations for Wests mens and womens premier cricket teams are able to be paid either up-front (when registering) or in four instalments. Players who want to pay by instalments should select the “pay later” option when registering though playcricket, then contact Wests’ club administrator Sam Truloff (email: westsbulldogsdcc@gmail.com or phone 0437-442416) to set up their instalment payment plan.
(Note that payment by instalment is not available for junior player registrations.)
Full season or half season?
Junior players can save heaps of coin by registering for the full season instead of just the half “pre-christmas” season.
Wests will again be entering teams in the popular MSW T20 post-Christmas competitions this season. That gives boys playing school cricket on Saturdays after Christmas the opportunity to also play action-packed T20 MSW cricket on Sundays through the second half of the season.
(U9s and girls cricket registrations are offered in full season only – so the value is already built in for these players!)
Full training kit for premier players
Full training kit (training shirts and shorts) is included in the registration fee this season for Premier cricket players (ie: mens and women’s grade cricket, Colts, Lords Taverners, Kirby Short Cup and Paul Pink Shield players).
A training shirt is included in junior players registration fees.
All new Wests players receive a playing cap.
