The gals took their seats at the NCC last Thursday evening for the Queensland Female Underage Cap Presentation Ceremony. 8 out of the 24 ladies present belonged to Wests which is a great achievement for all.
Lily Bassingthwaite, Lilli Hamilton and Naiya Varidel are getting ready for the U19 National carnival that kicks off tomorrow. Final preparations are happening today with their last get together at the NCC before hitting the field at Norths tomorrow where they take on Western Australia at 10am, followed by South Australia at 2:30pm both on Alan Pettigrew Oval. If you are over that way make sure you drop in and cheer the girls on.
Lilli Hamilton (C) , Abbie Trevethan, Chelsea Sonter, Ayaka Stafford, Rebecca Storrs and Fillipa SueSee will head into the U16 National Championship early in the New Year so more to come as it gets closer.
