- We say goodbye to Brendan Doggett who has received and accepted a wonderful opportunity with South Australian Cricket, Brendan has been a key part of our 1st grade men’s success playing significant roles in recent premiership success. We are sad to see Brendan leave but excited for him in accepting this wonderful opportunity. Always a Wests boy, Brendan will continue to be in contact with our Club and we will be watching his career with great interest from here. Good luck Doggie.
- Courtney Sippel has accepted an opportunity to join Gold Coast this season. We wish her well with this change but no doubt the Wests v Gold Coast clashes will be that more interesting this season.
- We welcome back Chris Sabburg for our one day campaign. “Strawbs” is a club legend before moving to Perth to further his cricket. Strawbs will be a great gain for this campaign. Looking forward to catching up with this legend – Check out his Wikipedia site https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Sabburg

Sponsorship Update
This season Wests have reached out to the community to engage with business and supporters to expand our sponsorship base which is all so important in the sporting environment.
I am pleased to announce our major Club sponsor as Ord Minnett as our Diamond sponsor. Motorama have been a sponsor of our club before and have returned to our Club this season as one of our Platinum sponsors along with VBR Law. We are proud to be associated with the wonderful companies and thank them for their engagement with this Club which is most welcomed.
We will announce several more sponsorships shortly. For those in our community interesting in participating I have attached our Sponsorship Brochure. We welcome entering into a partnership with any of our community businesses and supporters.
The new innovation for sponsorship has been player sponsorship. It’s a great way for your business to get involved with our club and follow the progress of our players. This is a sponsorship with reciprocal benefits for your business. Refer to the Sponsorship brochure is attached.
