Wests and MSW rep players Allegra Nearhos and Scarlett Varidel have been selected for the U13 girls Western Swelter team. The girls were two of four MSW players who were selected to represent our region in the upcoming Qld Cricket Pathways U13 Girls State Challenge. The competition will be played in Bundaberg in January 2020.
The girls shared the keeping duties for MSW. Allegra impressed with some fine legspin bowling and Scarlett with a determined opening knock as a batsman and some terrifying fast bowling!
Western Swelter includes both the Brisbane Metropolitan South West (MSW) and Darling Downs regions and is one of six region in Queensland that will contest the U13 girls state challenge.
