This weeks junior winner of the Grill’d burger is…..Georgia from Wests Falcons.
Wests Falcons were playing Souths Blaze on Saturday night in a game that both teams were looking forward to.
After being sent in to bat, Georgia came to the crease at 1/9 and complied an innings of great cricket shots and enthusiastic running between wickets! Her 35 not out (off 20 balls) helped Wests to 3/126 off 20 overs.
Georgias contribution continued when Wests took to the field with a good bowling spell and lots of encouragement to her team mates.
It was nice to win by 6 runs in a close finish but even better to see the spirit in which the game was played by both teams. Well done Georgia and the rest of the Falcons!
