A solid win for Wests Bulldogs O40s yesterday against Redlands Tigers at Fred Kratzmann Oval. After successfully losing the toss, we were told to bowl first. Redlands got off to a flyer, 0/30 after 3 overs, but once we got our first wicket, the wickets kept coming, Redlands all out for 131. The wickets were shared around: Pubudu Jayasekera 3/9, Michael Crump 2/12, Steve Gramenz 2/21 and Mohan Ratanayke 2/39. Wests in reply 2/131, passing their score with three overs to spare, Tony Dennien 50*, Michael Ladbrook 30*.
With one game remaining we can make the semi-finals with a win over Sandgate on Sunday 13 August.
