The weather was perfect, the lights were bright and excitement was high as our Blaster programs kicked off and all the boys and girls took to No.1 oval.
The laughter could be heard down Oxley Road as the Junior Blasters fielded, bowled and batted their way through all the games and activities. Meanwhile, on the other side of the field, the Master Blasters were cheering on their team mates. Scoring runs and taking wickets was the aim of the game as they eagerly participated in their Super Sixes games under lights.
It was great to see boys and girls together, laughing, cheering and having fun. Our Blaster programs are still open and we would love to see more friends and family down at Graceville on Friday nights enjoying our great game.
A big thank you to all our wonderful coaches, Canteen Coordinator and our 6th Grade boys on the BBQ who made the season opener and enjoyable one.
