The Hawks girls worked hard for a solid win over the UQ Flames.
Harris Shield – Harriers vs UQ Blaze

Last Friday night the Harriers came out of the game with a great win! The Harriers made 141 off 16 overs and restricted the Blaze to only 74 off 16 overs.
The Harriers had a top scorer in the batting innings of Tanvi Aiyar with 30 off 23 and a leading wicket taker of 3 for 12 off 4 with 1 maiden over.
There was awesome bowling and a great batting performance by the Westies.

Harris Shield – Ospreys vs Souths Fire

Team Spirit sees a win for West Ospreys
Friday night 20/11 saw the rematch between West Ospreys and Souths Fire at Fehlberg Park.
Ospreys were sent in to bat after losing the toss. It was a shaky start at 3/26 when Lacey Kennedy and Penny Munday anchored the innings with their partnership, Lacey scored an impressive 43 from 39 balls and Penny’s hit of 32 from 36 balls. The team came together to post a total of 8/144 to defend.
South’s had a strong start when Osprey’s disrupted their game with tight fielding. Penny showed her wicket keeping skills with a surprise stumping, Mia frustrated them by slowing the runs, Nuthana and Emily came in to take care of the lower batting order.
A great display of teamwork, encouragement and high energy had Ospreys claim the win with the opposition dismissed for 122.
The team is looking forward to next weeks match against UQ Blaze. One Team, Team Osprey!
