Long-time Wests stalwart Bec McCoombes chalked up a big milestone this weekend playing her 200th game for Wests against UQ.
Bec joined Wests for the 2008/09 season and has played a full season of grade cricket in every season since. In her first nine seasons at the club, she played predominantly in first grade before taking on the captaincy of our second grade team in recent years.
With a very young side in the past couple of seasons, Bec has been doing a sterling job mentoring our up-and-coming players. Her efforts are beginning to pay off with second grade having a great start to the season this year.
Thanks for a fine effort and your fantastic service to the club over 13 seasons, Bec!
