It was our second week of the West’s Blaster Cricket program and our Junior and Master Blaster kids were ready to go.
The oval was overrun with excited future cricketers. They were running between the stumps and throwing cricket balls to each other with great enthusiasm. It’s so great to see these kids enjoying the activities and learning how to work together and have fun.
Part of our success each week is our wonderful coaches and our Lord Taverner’s Squad are part of this success. Our Lord’s Taverner’s Captain, Darcy Graham, is here every week helping our Master Blasters learn the skills that have helped him with his own success at Wests. Darcy is a great role model for our Juniors and they love having him as one of their coaches. Who knows, he might be coaching one of our future Tav’s players.
With such great coaches, including our Tav’s Captain Darcy on hand to pass on their knowledge, our future of Junior cricket at Wests is looking bright.
