The girls scored green lights across the board on Sunday with two T20 wins against the Gold Coast and Valleys in first grade to remain undefeated for the T20 phase of the season, and a big first win for the second grade girls over Ipswich/Logan.
First Grade
Game 1 vs Gold Coast
The Gold Coast batted first and posted 5/108 with Olivia Hartland taking a tight 3/9 off her three overs, and the remaining wickets being shared between Samantha Dixon, Ashleigh Sims and Courtney Sippel.
Wests replied with 109 achieved in sixteen overs for the loss of only Grace Harris for 32 in the sixth over. Kirby Short and Courtney Sippel took the team home for a nine wicket victory.

Game 2 vs Valleys
Valleys batted first and lost wickets steadily in the face of tight bowling to finish on 6/93. Grace Harris and Courtney Sippel took two wickets apiece.
Wests overhauled Valleys total in the sixteenth over giving Wests an 8-wicket victory with Grace Harris following up her bowling contribution with 53 runs off 41 balls, supported by Kirby Short with 20.

Second Grade
A strong batting display led by Isabel Goffage (63) and Bec McCoombes (49) resulted in the girls posting a competitive total of 157 from their 40 overs.
Fast, accurate bowling by Naiya Varidel and Eliza Goffage and had Ipswich/Logan in trouble early at 3/11 after only four overs. Erin Moran and Isabel Goffage followed up with a second bowling partnership that further reduced the opposition to 6-36 after 15 overs.
Alex Lloyd and Sarah Kelso mopped up the lower order batsmen and Ipswich Logan were ultimately dismissed for 84 in the 33rd over, giving Wests a big 73-run victory.
