When does the season start?
When Wests senior training is about to start for our Men’s Grade, Women’s Grade, Lords Taverners and Youth Girls squads, and the first rounds of competition will progressively kick off through September. A full pre-season schedule will be posted to Training page within the next week.
The junior season for MSW junior cricket, the Chelmer Girls Cricket Challenge, Super Sixers (Master Blaster) and Junior Blaster commence in the first week of school Term 3 in October. Grading days for MSW Junior cricket will be held at the end of August – you can get the full details on our junior grading page.
What are we doing about COVID-19?
Wests has developed and implemented a COVID Safety Plan for all club activities. This plan has been developed from the Industry COVIDSafe Plan for Field Sports (which has been approved by the Queensland Government and from Cricket Australia guidelines.
