The Wests+Plus Cricket Academy has joined forces with Lucky’s Sports and Fitness Coaching Pty Ltd (LSFC) for season 2022/23. This is a fantastic development for our Club to link with an established and experienced coaching program to ensure a reliable, consistent, and quality programs for our up-and-coming junior cricketers.
LSFC has a holistic based coaching program focusing on cricket skills, fitness, life skills and most importantly enjoyment making it one of the most sort after cricket programs in the country. With highly skilled coaches, led by Lucky Peterson himself, level 2 accredited and current 1st grade/Qld 2nd XI cricketer, some of your WSDCC favourite coaches, and access to some of the most experienced coaches around, this promises to be a very exciting program.

I played a season here many years ago and to come back now and run all of the additional programs from holiday camps to masterclass programs is very exciting. To be able to shape and facilitate young Wests players in order to build them into highly skilled players in all disciplines and to follow in the footsteps of last season’s premiership winning First grade side is thrilling. We cannot wait to provide highly effective programs that cater for all skill levels and abilities from the everyday social cricketer to the aspiring cricketer who wants to challenge and develop himself to be a great cricketer, and more importantly a high quality individual. The good news is the previous programs run by the Wests+Plus Cricket Academy will be adopted by LSFC so there is no change in cost to you the player. LSFC will be conducting 8 week masterclass programs and holiday camps for all ages and abilities from 6 year old members through to our 17 year old’s. They will also provide workshops whereby guest speakers and coaches will come to present topics of their choice from T20 batting and bowling, goal setting, mindset, nutrition, and much more throughout the year!
The first of our programs commences with a 2 day Holiday Camp scheduled on June 27th and 28th, 2022.
