Wests’ promising young players got their pre-season preparations started this week at the Wests +Plus Cricket Academy winter camp at Graceville Memorial Park.
Constraints on numbers due to coronavirus restrictions proved to be of great benefit to the players with the smaller squad enabling greater coaching focus on each player.
Wests +Plus Development and Focus Squads are also returning in the second week of school term 3 for an 8-week programme. All places in these squads have now been taken for term 3, but if you’re keen to get involved in the term 4 squads, please contact Academy Co-ordinator Peter Frew at westspluscricket@gmail.com.
Solo (individual) coaching is also still avialable at any time, and can be arranged through Peter Frew.
