With the sun still shining bright and a slight breeze blowing over Graceville it was time for our Blaster kids to take to the No. 1 oval for the last time this year.

After such a challenging year, it was great to see so many kids enjoying our great game and our volunteers getting into the Christmas spirit for our last week of blaster cricket in 2020.

Firstly, thank you to all our Coaches, from our Senior players to our Lord Taverners players. These guys are with us every Friday night, devoting their time and energy to organising and running our program in a safe and fun environment for all, our blaster kids wouldn’t learn the skills they have without them.

Thank you to our Crew of Senior players who devote their time on a Friday night to be our BBQ volunteers each week, without your help we wouldn’t have sausages ready to feed all the parents, siblings and blaster kids. Special mention to the boys this week who went the extra mile to be Santa’s Helpers behind the BBQ for our last week.

Last, but by no means least, our Canteen Coordinator Stephen LeFlay. Without Stephen, we wouldn’t have sausages, drinks, chips and everything in between stocked in our canteen. Stephen is there every Friday night, serving behind the counter, answering questions and having a chat. Thank you Stephen and your sidekick, Darren (doggie) for all you do each week.

West’s would like to thank all of our Blaster kids, parents and siblings, volunteers and coaches who came each Friday night to share in the fun and we wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Blaster cricket starts up again on 29th January, 2021 and registrations are open now. See you all in 2021!
